My favorite posts.
Oh, and: email, twitter, pinterest, and ask.
Last night, a few work friends and I crowded around a table at Talde and wished a fond farewell to a fellow Slopian who is Manhattan-bound. Really glad we went! If I could eat at the bar every night and maintain my jean size and checking account balance I probably would.

Just had a straight up euphoric experience at Dough. (Taken with Instagram at Dough)
Edit: My pick was the Cafe aux Lait. Next time the plan is to grab another…plus a Lemon Ginger…AND a Dulce de Leche.
Penne Rosa made with greek yogurt. (Or, dinner last night.)
20 minutes & awesome. Just a friendly PSA. BUT…I left out the shrimp and subbed basil and arugula for spinach.

Dinner suggestion: Salmon in Spicy Garlic Tomato Sauce
I’ve been meaning to make this for 100 years and finally got around to it last night. It is shockingly simple (food processer required, though) but so, so good.
(I used about half of the suggested oil, left out the caraway seeds, and swapped red pepper flakes for the chili.)
Balsamic Caprese Salad with Toasted Pine Nuts
I made this for dinner last night after the longest day of the longest week. It’s the simplest thing you’ll ever make and BONUS! it’s even better eaten cold as lunch the next day.
Tip: Add pesto. (Generally, in life, whenever possible, add pesto.)
This weekend was delicious.

Bourbon Banana Bread with Brown Butter Glaze (and chocolate).
This is a super simple but crazy delicious recipe. For the glaze, brown 1/2 a stick of butter and add the butter to a cup of sifted powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and a few tablespoons of milk.
